Cherry City
Salem is known as the "Cherry City" as there are a lot of cherry trees planted all around town. On a recent nice day we went down to the capitol mall to see the trees in bloom. Here are some photos.

Nice pictures. I got to see lots of cherry blossoms on my recent trip to D.C.
I can't help but wonder if there's a Cherry City Queen, and if she has to be a virgin to qualify for the title.
Is it just me or do others think Oregon's Capitol looks more like a Mormon temple?
